Welcome to Friends Can! 

This is the very first step in the journey to something that we hope will be valued and highly regarded -  but progressing from here depends entirely on your views and feedback so please do let us know these through the survey on the last page. 

Friends Can aims to celebrate friendship and its networking power by raising very small sums of money from large numbers of supporters to help people, groups and organisations in need. Collectively, we can achieve significant sums that will be used to make the lives of others better. By using e-communication and social media to spread the word, we aim to reach as many as possible at minimal cost, thus maximising the benefits from every single pound raised. We will not use expensive advertising campaigns or celebrity endorsements – we think that direct communication between friends and family will be more effective and more authentic, and that people will value feeling a part of the evolving Friends Can Community,

This very simple website aims to give you enough detail for you to decide if you think our goal is achievable, and something you could support.    If enough of you say that it is then our hard work will start as we set about making it happen.
